Terms and Conditions

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP

This Membership Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the "Agreement") is made between:

The Bethlehem Interfaith Chapel Project (referred to as the "Chapel" or the "Project"), a project to develop The Bethlehem Interfaith Chapel near the UNESCO World Heritage site, The Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, Israel;

AND

The Member (referred to as the "Member"), who agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.

RECITALS


WHEREAS, the Chapel is developing The Bethlehem Interfaith Chapel, to be built near The Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, Israel;


WHEREAS, the Chapel offers memberships that include symbolic rights to a numbered 4x4-inch square of land, along with ceremonial and digital benefits;

NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows:

1. MEMBERSHIP TERMS

          1.1 Membership Purchase

          The Member agrees to purchase a membership as described in the provided materials and at

          the stated price.

          1.2 Membership Benefits: 
          The Member shall receive the following benefits based on their membership level:

          -    A symbolic 4x4-inch square of land located near The Church of the Nativity.

          -    Annual ceremonial activities performed as a symbolic gesture of faith and remembrance.

          -    A digital certificate granting a lifetime lease valid for 50 years, transferable and inheritable.

2. LAND USE AND RESTRICTIONS

          2.1 Symbolic Nature of Land Rights
          The Member acknowledges that the land rights are symbolic and ceremonial. Physical access

          may depend on the completion of the Chapel.

          2.2 Transfer and Inheritance
          Memberships and symbolic rights are transferable and inheritable for 50 years, subject to

          documentation submitted to the Chapel.

          2.3 Prohibited Uses
          Symbolic land shall not be used for commercial, residential, agricultural, or industrial purposes.

          2.4 No Mineral, Water, or Land Use RightThe symbolic lease does not confer any rights to use

          or benefit from minerals, water, or natural elements. Modifying, building upon, or using the

          land for any non-symbolic purpose is prohibited.

3. PAYMENT TERMS

          3.1 Payment
          Membership fees must be paid in full at the time of agreement via approved methods (e.g.,

          credit card, PayPal, bank transfer).

          3.2 No Refunds
          All payments are final and non-refundable.

4. CHAPEL CONSTRUCTION

          4.1 Construction Timeline
          Construction is expected to begin within the stated timeline, subject to obtaining necessary

          permits and approvals.

 

          4.2 Delays and Force Majeure

          Delays caused by circumstances beyond the Chapel’s control, such as political unrest, natural

          disasters, or economic instability, shall not incur liability for the Chapel.

          4.3 Notification

          Members will be notified upon the completion of construction.

 

5. DIGITAL CERTIFICATE OF LEASE

          5.1 Issuance
          A digital certificate confirming the lifetime lease of the symbolic land will be issued upon

          receipt of payment.

 

          5.2 Transferability

          Certificates are transferable and inheritable with proper documentation.

6. LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY

          6.1 Member Responsibility
          The Member has no financial or legal responsibility for the construction, maintenance, or

          operation of the Chapel.

          6.2 Chapel Liability
          The Chapel indemnifies Members from claims arising from participation in the project,

          provided Members comply with this Agreement.

          6.3 Indemnity Clause

          The Chapel shall hold Members harmless from liabilities arising from unauthorized uses of the           symbolic land.

7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

          7.1 Governing Law
          This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction and disputes shall

          be resolved in courts within said jurisdiction.

          7.2 Arbitration
          Unresolved disputes will be referred to binding arbitration under the rules of the International           Chamber of Commerce (ICC). The arbitrator’s decision is final.

8. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

          This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties, superseding all prior agreements.

9. ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ACCEPTANCE

          By accepting these terms and conditions, the Member confirms their agreement to abide by the rules and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
